Once you make a reservation to put your car on the Avail for Communities platform, we will send you a lockbox code. Use the code to unlock the lockbox and place your car keys inside. You will receive the code 30 minutes prior to the trip beginning and the code is only active for 30 minutes. When the driver’s trip concludes, you can retrieve the keys immediately after the trip is over. You will use the same code to receive the keys. There is no limit on how long you can leave your keys in the lockbox, but please pick up your keys as soon as you’re able as you are taking a spot from someone else.
